Background
The Triangle was a small area of land enclosed within three interconnecting roads, located approximately one kilometre south east of Escoville, with the apex of the feature pointing south. From 9th July the units of 152 Brigade, 51st Highland Division had endured an uneasy stand-off with the German defenders until, on the 18th, the brigade began its assault. There was a preliminary aerial bombardment, the British artillery began its barrage at 0645hrs and one hour later troops from the 5th Battalion The Seaforth Highlanders crossed the start line. Their opponents were the men of the 858th Grenadier Regiment.

Game Objectives
The British force enters the field from the upper table edge.
The aim of the attacking side is to capture the two crossroads on the base of The Triangle and the road intersection at the apex.. To capture these objectives the attacker must have an unsuppressed section on the feature at the end of a turn with no enemy units within four inches. For each of objectives the attacking player is occupying when the game ends he receives one point. A total of one point means the game is a draw, two points is a minor victory and three points is a convincing victory. Any other outcome is a victory for the defender. The normal FUBAR rules apply.
