The Spanish theatre was crucial to the outcome of the War of the Spanish Succession and yet it

is not well known. This book looks in detail at the vital 1710 campaign in the Peninsula. This

campaign was the last chance for Marlborough’s forces to seize a decisive advantage in this

important theatre.
