Carabineros

Templar Wargames are currently the only manufacturer to make Carabineros for the Spanish Civil War in 28mm. Alternatively, Empress make very nice Assault Guards which make pretty convincing Carabineros with a green paint job and a republican armband painted on.

This section has a mixture of both, these two manufacturers mix well in the same unit.

Empress on the left, Templar on the right. I bought the Empress figures more recently and they have a newer paint job, but I think they are genuinely nicer figures than the Templar.

I like the greater variation in poses obtained by mixing the two manufacturers.
