Thanks to Ray for the first three photographs and to Nick for the remainder.
Comments from Paul: - Gordon and I had a game of Square Bashing with a difference this afternoon. Mexican Revolution figures with Federales taking on the Villistas. You can see the barrage that had no effect but looked good! In the centre it got a bit crowded with all that cavalry and then on the Villusta left flank around two thirds of the units had been removed to reserves and really needed to come on to the table… Machine guns versus Mexican cavalry! Lovely figures from Peter Pig that I loved painting and pleased how they turned out. Square Bashing puts enough figures on the table to make it look and feel sweeping…Â
Comments from Ewan: - Finally finished my Guadalcanal game board for Blood Red Skies aerial combat game. It's modelled to represent your view from a high up aircraft rather than being the same scale as the planes. If you're a student of the battle, you can look for famous landmarks such as the Lunga River, Point Cruz and the Galloping Horse and Sea Horse hilltops. The bomber aircraft are printed for me by Peter Hill and the fighters are Warlord models.Â
